We laugh at these “old as time” chicken jokes, but think about it. The chicken is kind of wise! Look here, he’s not going to let anything stop him from getting to the other side of that road. He’s a chicken with a purpose, and his goal is to get to the other side of the road no matter what comes his way! Now that’s a chicken with a mission!

I’ve seen a lot of animals not make it across that road. Know what I mean? Ever see a squirrel cross a road? They start out doing the belly crawl…they get to the middle of the road, see a car coming, so they jump to the right. Then they jump to the left. By the time they decide they’d better run, it’s often too late!
