Object: a mask

Today we are going to begin pretending that we lived when Jesus lived on this earth. We are going to meet some of the people who Jesus knew and listen to them tell us stories about one of the times that they did something with Jesus. We are going to do this with some help. Each night the person telling you the story will be behind one of these masks. [Show them the mask.] We will pretend that the mask is the person telling the story and we are there listening to it.
