Object: Some Christmas tree ornaments.

Good morning, boys and girls. I brought along some things to help you to remember a time that is kind of easy to forget. (Take out the ornaments.) Do you know what these things are? (Let them answer.) What do they remind you of? (Let them answer.) Christmas. What is Christmas? (Let them answer.) When you see an ornament, and it reminds you of Christmas, do you think of Jesus' birthday first? That is what Christmas is really about, isn't it? That is the day that we celebrate the birthday of Jesus and we do it in a lot of ways. We go to church, we spend the day with our families, and we exchange gifts, to remember the great gift that God gave to us, when he sent Jesus into the world.
