Most of us could tell at least one story that would bring lumps in the rest of our throats, tears to our eyes, as we remember our own sleepless nights, our own painful experiences, seeking to be parents.

And God is our parent, our eternal parent. That was Jesus’ favorite title for God, “Abba, Father” - Daddy. That’s really what Jesus called God Daddy.
