We have come today to celebrate the life of ____________; beloved son, grandson, brother, and friend. We have come to offer our thanks to God for giving him to us -- even for so short a time as ______ years -- and we have come to commend him now to God's eternal keeping as it has been promised to us in the holy scriptures.
