SETTING: A small house on the road on which Jesus made His triumphal entry into Jerusalem. 

PROPS: A potted plant

(Woman is kneeling by the side of the road planting the plant) 

(Husband''s voice from off stage) "Wife, come in here.  It''s time for the evening prayers." 

Wife: "Yes, my love."  (To herself)  "I just want to get this....there!  It''s done."  (She looks at it lovingly, then a little self-conscious)  "Oh, I don''t know.  It''s not enough.  I wish I could make it bigger or prettier.  If I could afford to, I would make the most magnificent temple on this spot..." 

(Husband has walked on to stage)
