GUY: (RISING FROM BEHIND THE ALTAR AND PEERING OVER) Wait. Wait just a minute. What are you doing?

MARLA: I'm bringing a gift to God.

GUY: (CROSSING AROUND ALTAR TO CONFRONT HER) Why?

MARLA: Why? What do you mean, "why?"

GUY: I just wanted to know why you are doing this -- bringing a gift to God.
