Look at my little shepherd friend here. (Display figurine/ornament.) What do you know about shepherds? (Children respond.) They took care of sheep. They lived out in the field with the flock. Let's think about this. If shepherds lived out in the field with a bunch of sheep, where did they sleep and where did they take a bath?
