Object: a cross.

Boys and girls, we see a lot of crosses around the church, don't we. They are on the altar and on the pews and sometimes you see them on the hymn-books and in the windows and even on top of the outside of the church. That means a cross must really be an important idea for our church. Why do we think the cross is so important? (Let them explain it.)

That's right. And you have been doing a good job listening, in Sunday church school or at church or at home, to know so much about crosses. In fact, I see some of you even are wearing crosses on your clothes or around your neck.
