For an Individual of Questionable Character

One of the hardest funerals to preside over is the funeral for one who is of questionable character. And yet, in these situations, we have a unique opportunity to proclaim the pure message of the hope that a Christian has in the Risen Lord. This sermon has proven to be well received in a variety of situations.

No matter how much we prepare and think about death, when it comes we are never prepared. We are never ready. The death of one we love draws us up short, and catches us off guard.
