Props: Some candy, a soda, a piece of cake, a tray, and two adult volunteers.

Lesson: I’m glad to see you. Today I want to talk to you about . . . Have one of the volunteers come inside the church at precisely this point carrying a tray with the items on it. Stare at the person as he/she places the tray down and says, “Would you all please watch this for me. I have to go over there.” Sure, I’ll watch it for you. The volunteer then walks out another door.
