Object: a potted plant which is vigorous and strong.

Boys and girls, here is a friend of mine. This is one of God's creations. It has life in it and it is growing strong and beautiful. Does anybody know what kind of plant this is? (Let them tell you. Tell them if they don't know.) This plant began as a small seed. It was buried down under the soil and then it began to grow when it was watered. It received some warm place to grow, and when it came up it might have received some fertilizer too. If it didn't get all that good love and care it would have died a long time ago. But instead, here it is, alive and healthy and growing every day - even though it's the middle of the winter …
