[Read Ephesians 3:14-21]
Paul has a prayer for the people of Ephesus and he knows that his prayer is based on substantial resources. He prays out of the riches of the glory of God for the Ephesian Christians. He bases his prayer not just on his good wishes or his ability to make a difference in their lives but on the riches of God’s glory. And his prayer is direct. He is praying for these folks to be strengthened in their inner beings with power through the Spirit. That strength will allow Christ to dwell in their hearts and to ground them in love. It is a wonderful prayer for the church at Ephesus but it is not just for them.
