Good morning, boys and girls. In Mexico, the emphasis at Christmas is on the days and nights that Joseph and Mary traveled looking for lodging. Beginning on December 16 and continuing for nine nights, Mexican families take part in the POSADAS. Posada means inn and the posadas are a reenactment of Mary and Joseph's search for lodging. Several families celebrate the posadas together. Each night they gather at one of the group member's homes to play their parts.
