PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Liberating God, loving Christ, loyal Spirit, like Israel we can forget our liberation from bondage, and ignore the covenant you have made with us in the new testament. We confess our infidelity to the loving expectations you have of us as a community called out of service to lesser things to your worship and your mission in the world. We have forgotten the pledges of love that we have made and are unworthy of your unfailing devotion. Forgive us for the sake of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
