Leader: Good morning! I’m glad we’re together again! The busy-ness of Christmas and New Year are behind us. But I see Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday right around the corner.
People: All the holidays remind us that life is good.
Leader: That’s true — for all the rituals that hold time and the challenges of living.
People: We are grounded in faith, in the teachings of Jesus, and we are happy people.
Leader: Or as the psalmist said, “We are happy because we are planted by streams of living water!”
People: Yes!
