PRAYER OF CONFESSION
God of every tribe and language, people and nation, your dying, rising Son is the Lamb of God to take away the sins of the world. We are sinners, too, sharing with other nations and peoples, the tendency to think first of ourselves, to take whatever we can get, to give as little as possible, to be more critical of others than of ourselves, slow to forgive and to seek forgiveness. Forgive our resistance to your Holy Spirit, who is ready to help us to be obedient in deed and word, for the sake of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen.
