Theme For The Day: The theme of faith and doubt runs through the lessons for today. In the First Lesson, Peter attempts to elicit faith on the part of his hearers in the risen Christ. In the Second Lesson, Peter points out how Christians are born anew through their faith in the resurrected Christ, even though they have to undergo persecution and hardship.
