Call to Worship
Pastor: Rejoice! For God's light has come to dispel our darkness!
People: We rejoice as those who reap a great harvest. For God has sent his Son to be our Savior!
Pastor: There is no end to the justice and righteousness of his kingdom which is for every one who will let him rule in their hearts.
People: We bow before Christ our Lord, born to deliver us from the oppression of sin!

Collect
O God of love and peace, whose Son transforms our darkness into light, and our sadness into joy: Cleanse our hearts of all sin and unrighteousness; that Christ may be born in us, and rule in our hearts. We pray in our Savior's name. Amen.
