Object: I.O.U.’s written on paper.

I have some things with me this morning that are really going to be fun to give to you. As a matter of fact, I’ve been working on them all week and I’ve waited and waited for Sunday to come so that I could give them to you. I want to give them to you because I think that maybe you will understand Christianity a lot better when you see what I have to give you. (You will have to have enough I.O.U.’s for each child and make sure that they are things that you can do when you see one of the children either there or after church or when you call or whenever you see them. My suggestion is something like a piggyback ride for the youngest, a story that will make them feel good, a joke that will make them laugh, a prayer to make them well, a walk around the block …
