Call to Worship
Pastor: We are invited to join Peter in confessing that Jesus is the Christ, God's anointed Messiah.
People: That is our confession, and that is why we have come to worship him.
Pastor: Jesus teaches us that such a confession requires a life of discipleship expressed in self-denial.
People: May the confession of our lips be supported by the commitment of our lives.
