Boy and girls: Imagine a world without roads. This road map is just filled with lines. What are each of them? That's right roads. We would be in trouble, wouldn't we? Two hundred years ago there were no roads in much of our country, particularly west of the Mississippi. I heard about a farmer who decided to do something about that. He decided to begin a road from his little town to the state capitol. He started this grand project even though the state capitol was 100 miles away. How did he do it?
