Object: Several pieces of fruit such as apples or bananas.

Good morning, boys and girls. Today we are going to talk a little about the way Paul became a disciple of Jesus and a little about the way that you became one of God’s disciples too. I brought with me some things that I think you all like to eat. I am going to lay them out on this table so that you can take a good look at them. Good fruit is really beautiful to look at, and it is even better to eat. I am going to ask for a couple of volunteers to come up and stand beside me and take a closer look at the fruit. [Select some volunteers.] I want you to look these pieces of fruit over very closely and then I want you to choose one of the fruits that you would like for your very own.
