Good morning, boys and girls. How many of you like peanuts? (Let them answer.) I like them too. But what do we do with peanuts? (Let them answer.) We eat them. How many different ways do we eat peanuts? (Let them answer.) We eat them in peanut butter, in candy, cookies and lots of other ways. We also make peanuts into a cooking oil and I am sure there are just hundreds of ways that the peanut is used that I do not even know about. There are all of these different things to make from a peanut, and still you must have the plain peanut to start with before you can make any of them.
