God has spoken. Let us be glad and rejoice in the salvation of God.

PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Eternal God, nothing is more awesome for us than the death which we know to be inevitable but which we can not fully understand. We often question the timeliness of death, wondering if it is really occasioned by your plan or only the result of natural causes. Forgive any doubts that we may have that the resurrection of Jesus Christ does not hold promise for us and all your people as well. In his name we pray. Amen.
