Advent not only foretells the coming charm and joy of the infant Jesus, but it is paralleled by calls to consider our destiny in view of this Lord. We must think twice about what this child signifies for our daily living. For what is this child born? Words every relative and friend may ask of a newborn. Indeed, we do not have to look far to find a response to the question of how we are linked together with the Christ Child.
