Props: Small easel, sheet of drawing paper, and markers or crayons. You will need several greens and blues followed by a few browns, reds, oranges, and blues.

Lesson: As the children arrive hand them their marker and say: We are going to do something new today. I want you to take a marker. Now, what color do you have? (response) I want you to use your color to draw a picture. Half of the greens come forward and draw grass at the bottom. The kids draw. Now the browns. The greens did a great job on the grass.
