The city had been destroyed and left in ashes. Under extremely difficult circumstances, they began to rebuild: the walls ... the temple ... the city. Some of the outstanding leaders of that period were Ezra, Nehemiah, Haggai, and Zechariah. At this point, we reach the end of the Old Testament.
