For a long while, humans persecuted bees. We swatted them, sprayed them, wanted to eliminate them from our lives. They felt like unwanted pests. Now, we realize the harm we have put these insect communities through and the good they do within the eco-system of the world, not to mention the sweetness they bring to our tables.
