Good morning, boys and girls! Today we're going to talk about traveling. How many of you like to take a trip? (Let them answer.) I like to travel too. I like to take my whole family and go on long vacations, but sometimes I have to travel by myself, and I can't take my family. I remember when I was about your age, my father had to travel by himself once in a while. Sometimes his work would take him out of town for several days, and we were all very sorry to see him go.
