Minister: When the hour had come, Jesus sat at table, and the apostles with him. And he said to them, "I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you."

Mother: (Lights candle) With every holy light we kindle, the world is brightened to a higher harmony!

Child: Why is this Sunday different from all other Sundays?

Reader 1: This is the Second Sunday of Lent, the Sunday in which we reflect on the second Passover symbol, remembering Jesus during his final Passover meal, his last supper, with the disciples. The second symbol is the Haroset, or mixed fruit and nuts. (Gives dish of fruit and nuts to child)
